FREEWATER
My photographic project is a long-term study that I have been developing over many years. It seeks to explore and portray women within the sea, while also investigating the sea itself as a living container of humanity, memory, and historical eras. Through this ongoing research, the sea becomes both a physical and symbolic space—one that holds traces of the past, collective identities, and timeless narratives. The female presence emerges in dialogue with this environment, revealing themes of origin, transformation, resilience, and belonging, where body, water, and history merge into a single visual language.
